1. C. Collaboration allows for both sides to work together so that a mutually acceptable goal can be achieved. The solution(s) to the problem are believed to be optimal because both sides are taken into consideration. The process howeve,r can be time consuming and requires a commitment.

2. A. Confronting is an immediate step taken to end a conflict. It is a powerful technique which requires skillful initiation. It does not allow for the conflict to continue togrow as it had in the past. The disadvantage to confrontation may be that a minor issue can be blown out of proportion or a big deal can be made over nothing.

3. A. Intrapersonal conflict involves solely the individual. Examples are decisions related to personal priorities or values.
